Do you think that 4th grade is to young for bf and gf

So my cousin is in the 4th grade and they will have a dance at his school on Friday and he says he ask his gf to go with him and I never have a bf in the 4th grade and they are so young I think.

I had a boyfriend in nursery in fact we got married in front of everyone there. So that explains my years of dating disasters.
But it's harmless, unless they are displaying adult behaviour...
We didn't even know anything more than a little kiss on the lips and holding hands. Everything else was friendship based and that continued until I was 17.
