@Stray4life London has a housing crisis going on at the moment. High and rising rents, and not enough housing to begin with leaves lots of people homeless. The local councils within London that control its various boroughs are supposed to be dealing with it, but are severely underfunded by a government that has a shattering orgasm whenever anybody says the word "austerity". Local councils blame the lack of funding from the government, and the government blames the councils for not using the funding well enough. Basically, it's a shitshow of people pointing fingers at everyone else and taking no responsibility, while people lose their homes to rent increases they can't afford.

Omgosh that is horrible. :(
