Unfortunately, in the US today, it's far too easy for those with mental health issues or political agendas to get hold of weapons to easily kill people with.

There's no future because we have no compassion and wisdom anymore.
There are obvious solutions that protect people and which allow people to have their guns. Nobody wants to consider them. Everyone is on their own trips.

@CopperCicada The Crusades didn't happen yesterday, and neither did the Reconquista, Inquisition, Holy Roman Empire, the Great Schism, and these are all just some particularly well known examples for Christendom, there are scant few religions without a political past. And it's not all distant past for Christianity either, the role played by Christian infighting in the El Salvadoran Civil War was not insignificant either, which we are still dealing with the fallout from. A very close friend of mine's family fled here to America to escape that conflict.

If you are talking about Iran, Iraq war, tIraq in that war used chemical weapon against Iranians and its own people.... we never ever used mass destructive weapon in war..... read the history please.
I'm afraid, your argument is against humanity and I might easily lose respect for anyone who believes and argues in that way...
Civilians, kids, people in hospitals, elderly are not and should not be used as a mean to your victory... a healthy mind never thinks like that and you with your way of thinking are holding 100 guns...

There is no danger of anyone taking guns away. It wasn鈥檛 going to happen during the last administration, in spite of NRA fear-mongering, so there鈥檚 no way it鈥檚 happening now. One might鈥檝e hoped for some controls so they couldn鈥檛 just be picked up like a snack at Walmart, but Trump鈥檚 bought into the idiocy that more guns somehow means less gun violence. So we won鈥檛 need bombs.
