Has anyone else not have had their wisdom teeth pulled?

I was talking to some clown 馃ぁ I work with ( he鈥檚 annoying) lol and asked him why he wasn鈥檛 at work for the last 3 days. He said he had his wisdom teeth pulled , he鈥檚 26 and I said how painful was it? He asked me well don鈥檛 you know? I said no, I鈥檝e never had mine pulled ( I鈥檓 in my late 30鈥檚) they never bothered me. He couldn鈥檛 believe it. I鈥檓 like WTF is it really that odd?

I had the left ones out when I was young. They were impacted. The right ones I kept for years. I didn't have any problems for a long time, but eventually they became a trap for food and germs. My gums were always inflamed. Once they were out, the gums healed. I think that's one of the reasons that we are encouraged not to keep them because the problems I had were not uncommon. If they aren't causing you any problems, leave well enough alone. Another thing I've heard before is that hygienists hate them because they are difficult to clean around. LOL

@vader2112 dude, you鈥檙e obviously an expert on this subject I learned a lot from what you said. I guess I鈥檓 not out of the woods yet but I don鈥檛 have a high pain threshold so if I ever get even a warning sign those mofo鈥檚 are getting yanked

@GBPackersFan Thank you for the compliment, but I'm not expert. I just paid attention to what hygienists and dentists said over the years. I'm glad it was helpful! For the impacted teeth, I was put under general anesthesia. For the other side, just novocaine. It wasn't that bad, but I tool the afternoon off work and rested.
