When I get someone trying to argue with me, I do not respond at all or I respond with a response that requires, nor asks for a response. Example, I was pointing out the reality of Muslim immigration and the detrimental effects of the local population.
Someone replied to me thus, " And exactly what is the reality"?
Obviously wanting to attempt to shoot me down and engage in a back and forth which goes nowhere, I responded with, "Look it up"
She did not respond and if she had of, I would have ignored her.

Just say what you mean and it's up to them to handle it.
