Have you ever had a repeating dream theme?

I frequently dream of being in a city that's so familiar and so real. And there's always a fountain in the middle of a small square at the corners of four skyscrapers that I'll come to and in the dream I'll realize I've been here in other dreams. The theme is always different, but the city remains the same. Like last night I was being hunted by Russian agents. A few days ago I was testing autonomous cars for Uber in the same city. And last week I was a police officer helping to fight off an alien invasion. Always in the same city though, and always the same fountain reminds me it's a dream. I can't seem to control the dream, but once I see the fountain I know every street, alley and building and exactly how to use the city to my advantage.

Yes I have. I kept dreaming of a hotel in a place surrounded by trees, in the woods.... in the hotel there were different sized doors, and behind each door was a room that had an old person in it - some were sleeping, some were sat in a rocking chair looking at old photographs. It was Victorian era... I went to the last door at the end of the corridor and behind that door was darkness just black. I had this dream 3 times I think 🤔.... trippy huh ? Lol 😖😴
