Hey all you Trump haters, he never said "shithole" ...

The Whitehouse insists he called those countries "shithouses" instead.

So, yeah ... take that, CNN ...

not a fan of calling a country either name but CNN has a duty to report accurately. if you're going to quote someone, then you quote them accurately.
@Newandimproved he sed duty😂😂😂

@Newandimproved I've heard of calling places s-holes; s-houses would be an unusual formulation for a native English speaker.

I think the WH is just making shit up to cloud the waters.

Either way, Trump continually sounds like me ... but only when I'm at the bar late at night after my fifth pint. They don't let me near the taps at that point, nevermind a big working nuclear button.

@WoodyAq wasn't a fan of either candidate for the presidency last election - seriously THIS is the best we can do?

oh and regarding the term...I believe the president is well acquainted with the phrase "oh my gawd she's built like a brick shithouse", so I have no problem with the term.

we agree that he is no public speaker. and he should let others tweet for him.

on the plus side, you don't have to wonder what he's thinking.

and he is the prime example of why the founding fathers wanted two other branches of government.

@Newandimproved I don't care for the way he pisses on our heads but insists that it's raining.

I guess all politicians do it to some extent, but I've tired of Trump's unrelenting torrential downpour.

@WoodyAq he's as polished and debonair as a polished turd. and unless he is challenged by a really good, sharp alternative, he'll be in for a 2nd term.
WoodyAq · M
@Newandimproved nah. He's not going to last the term.

@WoodyAq if you're talking about an impeachment I'd be surprised. not sure you could prove his personal involvement in anything and even if you could it would take a special prosecutor a year or two and then the hearing. you'd have to convince enough people in the house and senate to vote the bill of impeachments and then convict.

at best a year might be shaved off of his term AND you'd have to convince republicans to vote against one of their own. (Nixon resigned before the senate could vote but it looked like he was going down. and Nixon was almost universally hated by the time the legal process went that far).

I could be wrong.

then again, what kind of prez will Pence be? pretty unknown quantity isn't he?

I'm studying for my Canadian citizenship :)

@Newandimproved I think it's more likely he'd pull a Nixon, step down and be pardoned. The House is more than likely to go Democrat, at which point he'll be buried in investigations on a number of avenues. Scandals will pile up.

If nothing else, it'll get expensive for him.
