NO and I resent a man who calls it one
I have 2 people who would die for me on that continent
One is SW Africa ,a highly educated and intelligent lady
Another who puts himself in harms way daily for others ,deployed for months at a time away from his family and all he is provided is a net to keep mosquito's off him is a net ,he got malaria this past summer and is now about to face those same conditions again ,He is a Policeman ,he is forced to live most of the time in very poor conditions ,he has 5 more years to go until he can retire .
Not living in a building covered in gold and gold on his cake (real gold on a cake )
So I am as offended as my Brother and Sister who live there are ,that happens to be where they were born ,unlike some with a gold spoon and rattle .
And most don't know ,,Like Iraq and Iran ,the USA caused that crap there ,
not the acts of God ,but the government ,,if you can call it one

@Teirdalin Africa is a continent made up of many countries ,,so a blanket statement about Africa as a whole is ignorant .
it is one of the richest places in the world and controls an eko system that effects the world .
So in Nigeria it had good areas and bad ,and the Police are not properly equipped ,but to say that applies to all of Africa would only prove you are ignorant about the continent .
Where my Sister lives it very modern and business ,she has ties to government agencies all over the world ,,so I dare say some might be careful as to how they talk about her country ,,see you never know who someone else knows
and how it can back lash on the loud mouths that should have educated themselves before they made blanket statements ,,thats all
Not all whites are red necks and not all black people like kool aid ,,I happen to like it too ,and I'm white ,and love chicken and watermelon

@Sicarium She is no assassin ,but still well connected
if you knew all she has done you would be impressed too ,
And I am not taken in by BS stories ,I know her .(but I am not trying to convince you )
but Please forgive me if I seemed to base my opinion on 2 people ,
they just happen to be people I know and love who live on the continent of Africa from 2 separate and totally different countries ,
One in upper class ,one very poor but both in service to their people and part of the solution (actually doing something not just talking )not part of the problem .Again thanks for the tear ,I will save it for my distillery ,
when we all cry for water and only the rich have it .
I will be making safe drinking water from salt
even though its a small contribution ,I prefer to do then to talk myself
