How long after new years is it still OK to say "Happy New Year"?

In general, the first week after the new year. If you are good friends with someone, then it doesn't matter. I say it to good friends in Feb. if I haven't seen them since the 1st.

I'd say just before midnight on June 15th then it's slightly used the day later and then it just gets old

Here u can say Merry Christmas on Jan the 7th. The Coptic Church here celebrates Christmas on the 7th.

Until you stop writing the previous year's number on checks and papers.
