In general, the first week after the new year. If you are good friends with someone, then it doesn't matter. I say it to good friends in Feb. if I haven't seen them since the 1st.

I'd say just before midnight on June 15th then it's slightly used the day later and then it just gets old
Here u can say Merry Christmas on Jan the 7th. The Coptic Church here celebrates Christmas on the 7th.
