For or against the death penalty?

As a liberal I used to claim being against, but the older I get and the more horrendous crimes I see, such as mothers killing her children etc. The more I have to support it.

@SW-User Also cheaper and, really, more moral. There's really no upside to the death penalty. All it is is vengeance: not justice. Even if someone snaps and kills their children, it doesn't mean they will always be an evil person. Sometimes people break; sometimes people are ill; and, even if they did it out of conscious intent, humans constantly evolve.
