Where does anxiety stem from ?

Generally, anxiety is a means to heighten your awareness so that you are not in danger. BUT, being anxious too often creates too much stress.

So, usually, when the danger is no longer present or assumed, the anxiety should lesson. But, with too much negative news etc, the anxiety stays, making one feel stressed, adding to the loop.

Sometimes your brain keeps this loop running. And makes things soo much worse.

So, sometimes we need help to correct the levels - therapy, working out, meds..
