i lied about my job experience. My friend was a realtor and offered to give me a hand 馃し

@SW-User but lying is a sin, does that mean they are discriminating agaisnt my religious beliefs if i have to lie to get a job?!
SW-User
@StinkyTracy You can either lie or keep looking. Nobody is going to hate you for it either way, however i do admire that you refuse to lie.

I'd immediately fire someone if I found out they lied about their work experience, even if they were good at the job they were hired for.

@DistilledSpirit Depends on the job obviously. I just wanted to be a cashier. Who the hell cares about a cashier? do you care? Because if so, goddam that blows
StinkyTracy22-25, F
@DistilledSpirit thats just wrong distilled, if they are good at what they do, why would you condone taking food out of their families mouths like that
DistilledSpirit41-45, M
@StinkyTracy Because I feel integrity is more important than experience. I've hired lots of people who didn't have the experience I'd hope for, but they were honest about it and made a case for why they were still the right person for the job; skills can be learned, and people have to start somewhere. What I wouldn't do is have someone on my team who is going to lie to me and defraud my company in order to get what they want.

@DistilledSpirit you're one in a million buddy. If more people were like i wouldn't have lied.
