Because it's not an accurate description of me.
Who doesn't like to be called Sir?
I think it all depends on the context, honestly. I don't particularly appreciate being called Sir in a sarcastic way, unless maybe it's a lover being playful. But generally speaking, being called Sir and perhaps specially by a lover, illicits a very nice feeling to be honest.

@CesareBorgia some people here don't like being called sir.
Well, under the right circumstances I enjoy it. I have a close friend who is a lot younger than I am who insists on calling me Sir and I always give him a hard time about it. I can appreciate the respect he's wanting to show me, but we are friends, I don't feel it's something required as I see us as equals if anything. But sometimes you must also accept the fact that someone wishes to show you that kind of respect. Recognize that to do so for them, makes them feel good or they wouldn't be calling you Sir. And like I said, under the right circumstances it can be very appealing if it is a lover calling me Sir. >=)
Because I'm a gurl! 😂

It'd just be awkward to me but I wouldn't hate it, it'd be like why am I being respected that much
Sagiri · 26-30, F
@SW-User i like saying it too to someone older than me.

SW-User
@Sagiri Makes sense, I could be much older than I am and not really care either way if someone wanted to say it or not

SW-User
It''s kind of awkward, and seems like it would be reserved for people older and of higher standing than me.
Sagiri · 26-30, F
@SW-User maybe that's why he didn't reply when i call him sir.

SW-User
I feel I should be older before being called that.
