Why is there an anti-British conspiracy on every site I use?

The latest example I have seen on SW is using the word "English" in an obviously derogatory manner followed by some obscene insult. What have people got against us that makes them want to be so racist towards us?

I haven't seen that either, but I have used the word "English" many times in reference to the language itself on this website, but it never occurred to me that someone might think I was referring to the British.
