My kids ,the greatest gift God ever gave me ,all 4 of them are my world ,
3 daughters ,1 son .
My 5 Grandkids are also the best kids (young adults now )a grandparent could ask for .until October 3rd there was only 4 of them , 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson .
My middle daughter has tried for years to have a child .
She was told to hang it up ,,everything she had tried failed ,so she became a foster parent ,
but 25 times she has had her heart broken when it was time she had to give them back .(I always knew she would have been the greatest Mom ,she loves kids )
October 3 ,she finally had her own miracle baby .
my oldest Grandson was the first male child born into our family in 27 years .
March 2 will make 18 years ago .
My son was born on my birthday ,March 20th will make 10 years ago
October 3rd, made the 3rd male child in all those years ,all the others are girls .But Boy or Girl , everyone of them are the reason I want to wake up everyday .
One of my Grandkids made it through high school and is part way through her 3rd year in college ,I hope to live to see them all graduate ,maybe finish college ,My youngest Granddaughter is already going to college and high school just like her cousin did ,,I am very proud of them all .
When I wake up I thank God for letting me wake up one more day (after I get pain meds in me so I stop feeling like a truck hit me )
Then I thank Him when I can get to my feet and walk one more day and make it to the bathroom by myself (and I thank Him for hot water ,that shower is heaven sent ),then I thank Him for all my other blessings ,starting with His kid, and then mine .
I have so much to be thankful for I'll spare you the book ,this really is a short list LOL
