I selfharmed again

I have been so strong for past year but dont know why am i at the same point again i went soo far

You fucked up. It happens. Find out what caused it, then try to notice the signs next time and do something other than that to release tension. Other than that, don't be too hard on yourself. Just pick yourself back up and keep trying.

@Deadgirl Exercise is a big one. Just going for a walk is good. Endorphins will release that way, so you get the same effect on the brain. Just without the blood. Rubber band snapping your wrist is another, if you simply cannot do anything else.

Really. I think exercise is the single best one. It relaxes you and displaces all that pent up energy. It's hard to feel depressed or self-loathing or whatever else, after exercising well.

It also depends on your reasoning for self-harming. If it's to feel alive, due to disassociation, then that will require different, more specialized treatment.

@Deadgirl Mhm, np. I gotta lot of experience with self-harm. Really, you just have to replace that negative addictive behavior with a positive behavior. As it is an addiction, all you have to do is resist for 2 minutes when you get the urge. It will pass after that. So, if you can distract yourself for that long, you're good.
