Can you employee the snow from the sidewalk?

My crew does snow removal, but the contract is about an hour and 15 mins drive away... And we would start whenever the snow started... And I'd have to drive through the storm... Down the highway... I think I'd rather train sharks than drive down I 88 in a snow storm at 2 am.
