Sometimes you just have to cry and let it all out don't you?

rckt148 · 61-69, M Best Comment
yes ,and whoever said grown men don't cry
they don't know me
its better to cry then kill people who have hurt you
or a life that has crushed you all you can be crushed
Now I cry for our country ,I cry for our world
and the kids we are leaving it to
So to cry is a good thing
its shows your heart still feels
when I stop crying ,,we are all in trouble
I will know then they do no more good
then all who laughed while we wept will cry ,
it will be my time to smile

@rckt148 Beautifully said. You can articulate what others think. Thank you.

I do that every month before my period

Yes I believe its totally OK to cry and let it all out its one of the many copeing mechanisms we have to deal with things that we experience in this life I think it helps the soul and it shows you have heart, compassion, understanding and empathy,I think if you hold these things in like some men are told to do to be macho and strong that eventually it will drive you crazy so definetly let it all out and dont be ashamed to cry or show your emotions.

What an interesting user name you have there. It is a combination of two close friend I met on EP.
But yeah I think we all need a release of some kind,

@Zoranna Not a problem. Hmm, I think I have run into you before and you have a very strong will. No?
Absolutely no offense intended. Personally I like strong willed people but I hope not to make any kind of argument about that.

@Jack4054 Have you? "Run into" sounds ominous, oh dear. No offence taken, I'm more intrigued than anything.

Any special thoughts about the astral?

@Zoranna what crying is just another expression, it is healthy to and does do something, it releases the emotion so you don't repress it. Sometimes I wish I could because I'm emotionally repressed but I'm working on it.

@JovialPlutonian thank you ,yes I was gonna say pretty much the same thing that crying does help you cope with the emotion of sadness it helps you get over the feeling so you can move on with your life I think if you repress those emotions as you said then you fall into deep depression which is not a good place to be,and sometimes it takes more than one crying session to deal with some issues thats fine get it out its the best way to cope with it.

I do not cry anymore because it clogs my nose and then I cannot breath. Plus I do not have time. I have adopted a philosophy of Stoicism, and I try to suppress emotions like a Vulcan.
Crying is like riding a rocking horse.
It will give you something to do, but get you nowhere.. 🤘

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Thanks, but true.
Oh, yes. Seems crying is one of my favorite pass-times.

Say how you feel. Speak out your feelings even when you feel like you may regret doing so. You may not understand what I am saying right now. But once you do, youll understand why.
Occasionally, yes. 🙁
