How did Grant manage to get himself onto the $50 bill?

I mean he did the Civil War thing which was a good job, no doubt. But his presidency was a failure and he didn't do anything else. I just don't know how he managed to get himself onto the $50 bill...🤔

@xCoinx Washington, of course. Jefferson too. Abe Lincoln was a good choice, yes. Hamilton on the 10 I think is the best of them all. And Franklin on the 100 is also a good decision. Madison was on the 500 when those were still produced.

@xCoinx Jefferson didn't get excluded, he's on the two dollar bill. He's also on coins, that being the nickel.

@BlueMetalChick Oh yea🤔...you know I once forgot that Lincoln was on the 5...but I've never forgotten that he was on the penny, not sure whats up with my memory sometimes.
