Because you think it's a trend?
Let me tell you this : tons of people already knew that they were trans 20 years ago. They just come out now because people finally start to listen to us and consider our feelings and respecting our identifies. Until a few years ago when Caitlyn was still living as Bruce people didn't pay attention to us and saw us as mentally ill freaks. Fortunately people are slowly but surely starting to understand that we are who we say we are.
I knew that I was trans since age 4. I knew that I was a girl and that something went wrong. I still kept it to myself until age 18 because religious and conservative sock puppets, including my parents, were spreading too much hate and were listened to by the crowd.
Oh and didn't God say that judging someone else is a sin as well?
Bit hypocrith, darling.
Anyway, keep shouting your bullshit. More and more people are becoming our allies. Slowly but surely people are starting to respect us.
