Let me tell you this : tons of people already knew that they were trans 20 years ago. They just come out now because people finally start to listen to us and consider our feelings and respecting our identifies. Until a few years ago when Caitlyn was still living as Bruce people didn't pay attention to us and saw us as mentally ill freaks. Fortunately people are slowly but surely starting to understand that we are who we say we are.
