three days into a weekend job delivering pizzas, and here is what I've found:

Because poor people know what it feels like to work a busted ass job and get paid fuck all

They know what it is to work and appreciate what you do, and how you're trying to make it.

thats why they are poor...

They are more empathetic as they have gone through hard times and can understand what you go through.

Poor people understand you're carrying the weight of the assholes in corporate and you're seeing a penny out of every dollar you make, while they get the rest.

I won't even go out to a restaurant if I can't afford to at least tip 15%, I prefer to do 20% because waiters/waitresses have it fucking rough.
Same with delivery. I know you guys pay for your own gas, and you're adding wear and tear to your only vehicle, in most cases...the least I can do is throw you a $10

They know what it's like to work their asses off

They tip better because they work hard for what do have an appreciate that you work hard too IMHO

At least you were given tips. I guess it's easier to make money from the poor than from the rich.
