The inner lamination inside my windshield fogs up

I got a tow notice tkday while at work because my van didn't have my parking pass displayed, despite it being displayed. Fog is forming inside the windshield- not the inside, not the outside- INSIDE the glass material where it can't be cleaned off. I can't drive right now, nothing I've squirted on the inside or outside of it has worked. People said vinegar, vinegar doesn't seep into the pores of the glass.

I'm just sitting here revving my engine trying to warm the airflow up.

The only cause for that I can think of is the windshield is delaminating which is rare but happens. If it really is that and moisture is forming between the laminates the only fix is to replace the windshield.
@Gibbon I keep thinking that. It was a warm day today, up in the 50s, and I absolutely cannot leave the window cracked where I am at.

I'm reading some people leave a sock of kitty litter on the windshield. I might try that if I can find some cheap litter.

@Dignaga Walmart Cats Pride.
@Gibbon I used to buy a green bag of the cheapest stuff from Walmart. If that is what it is, I might try it.

I'm just worried cops are gonna think I either have a big dildo on my dashboard, or a prison weapon.

Might have to put a sticky note up saying not a dildo. I dunno. This is all new to me.

@Dignaga I don't know that the litter hack will work in a delaminate situation.
@Gibbon Ummm..... yeah. I just need the windshield tk wkrk until after I get the van inspected in Feb. I'll try the socky cat litter dildo first.

@Dignaga maybe a hot long defrosting will dry it out unless you've already tried.
@Gibbon nothing hot about my defrost. It tpok about 20 minutes of sitting there reving the engine for it to clear out. Windshield suddenky started getting wet on the inside and it took a few more wipings and waiting for it to clear up.

@Dignaga Wet on the inside with the defroster blowing? That's so weird. You have a problem windshield on your hands.
@Gibbon I know.

@Dignaga
@Gibbon The ratio of cat litter to air is coughably high.
