Needing to use some travel rewards .. thinking its time for a down time get away. Would love to take my dog, but complicates lodging options .. so we'll see.

A good book or two, chill tunes, appropriate adult beverage in-take so as to only kill the weakest brain cells. No itinerary beyond the hang.

We rented a cabin near Ouray Colorado recently. We took our dog. We went 4 wheeling on the greatest trails
in the world during the day, and watched deer and a bear at night from the 2nd floor balcony, while partaking in
adult beverages.

@DogMan How cool! How long were you there? Were the fourwheelers yours or did you rent them? I have heard Ouray is a fabulous place to visit.

@Musicman It's an incredible place to visit. It was my second time. Spent 1 week each time. First time I took my
mildly built Jeep. Second time I took my new mildly built 4 runner. I prefer the 4 runner. It will do anything a Jeep
will do, and is better on the highway..The picture is on Black Bear Pass with Telluride below.

Thats the 4 runner below out the window of an old 2 story house. This was a ghost town we found. I think its called Animas Forks.

@BrandNewMan Most beautiful place in the country. I think we took the Mineral creek trail there. And came out on the
California Gulch trail. My mouth was hanging open the whole time.
