I have Seattle or Alaska on my mind for next year

Never been to California either.
I dunno.
Did a cruise to Alaska out of Seattle. So you could take a few days there before the cruise. Might want to look into Alaska packages that include both cruising and land portions so you’ll get to see more. Great trip to take.
@DDonde Been awhile but these are some of the top attractions: Denali National Park, Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, Kenai Fjords National Park, Ketchikan's Totem Heritage Center, Glacier Bay National Park, the Inside Passage, Tracy Arm Fjord, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

@DDonde And if you like to drive, I’d highly recommend tracking the Pacific Coast Highway from LA to San Francisco. Gorgeous drive, lots of great stops along the way like Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Big Sur and Monterey.

I've been to California twice. Loved it.

California is best for a mix of outdoor and urban experiences.

Come to Texas 😏😏😏
DDonde · 31-35, M
@TurtlePink Texas is also on the list, but I'd gotta pick a city

Been to Seattle and Alaska (2x) on cruises.
All cruises out of Vancouver.
Go to Alaska.
DDonde · 31-35, M
@Hatt94 what did you like the most?
Hatt94 · 56-60, MVIP
@DDonde one cruise was a smaller ship, so we could get closer to the one Glacier, the name escapes me at the moment.
The Skakway train ride was pretty cool, took it back to the Canadian border. Saw a few Whales, lots of Bald Eagles.
Rode the longest zipline, that was a blast.

@Hatt94 went on my first cruise a year ago last August. It was to Alaska.
squared · 26-30, M
most of california is nice year round and you can even ski and surf on the same day in winter
DDonde · 31-35, M
@squared how about LA
take a cruise to alaska....probably stop at port in my town
DDonde · 31-35, M
@beermeplease Anchorage?
@DDonde no...i'm in vancouver. but cruises make a stop here before heading north
Alaska is always my vote, depends where you are. Of a city vacation appeals to you then I'd say Seattle though

Alaska. Definitely Alaska
DDonde · 31-35, M
@hyg346 There's something about it that I really wanna go see
hyg346 · 46-50, M
@DDonde the wildlife is amazing!
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
What about Mississippi
DDonde · 31-35, M
@deadgerbil I'm not sure where I'd go see in Mississipi though
deadgerbil · 26-30, M
@DDonde their best attraction is a 5 star trailer park
Sounds like an adventure waiting to happen

I’ll likely be taking a trip to both next year
