Did a cruise to Alaska out of Seattle. So you could take a few days there before the cruise. Might want to look into Alaska packages that include both cruising and land portions so you’ll get to see more. Great trip to take.

@DDonde Been awhile but these are some of the top attractions: Denali National Park, Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau, Kenai Fjords National Park, Ketchikan's Totem Heritage Center, Glacier Bay National Park, the Inside Passage, Tracy Arm Fjord, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

@OlderSometimesWiser thank you
@DDonde And if you like to drive, I’d highly recommend tracking the Pacific Coast Highway from LA to San Francisco. Gorgeous drive, lots of great stops along the way like Santa Monica, Santa Barbara, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Big Sur and Monterey.

I've been to California twice. Loved it.

California is best for a mix of outdoor and urban experiences.

Alaska is always my vote, depends where you are. Of a city vacation appeals to you then I'd say Seattle though

What about Mississippi
DDonde · 31-35, M
@deadgerbil I'm not sure where I'd go see in Mississipi though
