It's always great to be home!

I just walked in the door minutes ago. The first thing I did was take a hot shower and then unloaded my vehicle. I just returned from four days in the beautiful Hot Springs, Arkansas area. Some family lives a little south/west of there, and I love the scenic views and the curvy roads. I really must slow down when driving those roads though! Eating healthy was out of the question! My nephew broke out the beer, the country music, and the grill. Ever have venison neck stew? Pretty good! Oh gosh, the noise from them all! I had forgotten just how loud they talked, even the kids! We had a grand ol time. Even the pool table in the shop got a work out. Still, the peace and quiet of home! Ahhhhh yeah!

Hi, Cole. No place like home. I just got home tonight with my dogs. My vehicle broke down after work last weekend..So I had to stay with a friend. So happy to be home. Sounds like you had a great time.

@Coletracer I am Canadian. My holiday was in October. It was nice and quiet and filled with turkey and all the fixings. No, unfortunately, not fixable. I am grounded. Well, I have feet. Have a great day!

Oh hell yea especially when you were out on a bad vacation and/or to an unwelcoming place.

@Donotfolowme I don't usually go anywhere on vacation but I do know what you mean. I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina years ago and it was a disaster. I haven't been back, but in their defense, I hear they cleaned up the place since then.
