Kind of attempting to plan my first solo trips. Please help me with the what ifs

Again, this will be my first solo trip.
It will be a 5 hour drive , if I keep this destination.

I have AAA but what if my car breaks down 5 hours away from home? Wouldn't that be several hundred dollars to tow it back home?

I'm not even sure I can fix a tire. How do you use fix a flat? 😬

What if something goes wrong?

What if somebody steals my wallet? (Yes call the police) but then how do I get home and eat with no money/card. Stash some in my car??

What's a good power bank for charging phone? Plugging into the cigarette lighter area charges super slow.

I had been watching videos and a girl gave a nice tip about this but anything else I should know?
Solo travel seems so weird, anxiety inducing to me but I feel like I NEED to do it.

I would want to leave home before dawn but then check in time for hotels is usually 4pm....what do I do?? I wouldn't want to sit up, sit around after a 5 hour drive. I'd want to lay down. Sure I will make stops along the way but still.

-if your car breaks down far from home you go to a garage and have it repaired locally.
-if you need to replace a wheel and don't know how there will usually be people around to help.
-if someone steals your wallet you go to a western union and have someone wire you money,
-if you think you might be late for check in time just let the hotel know what time you plan on arriving. -generally as long as you don't arrive before check-in time its fine.
-some stuff usually goes wrong and later make fun stories to tell. also when something unexpected happens and youfind yourself needing assistance, its a good to realise how many nice people are in this world.
worst thing that can happen is to let hesitation prevent you from enjoying life.

@reflectingmonkey I feel like I'd end up getting ripped off if i needed to take my car somewhere local.
I don't understand how money wiring works, i'll look it up.
Things going wrong is not my idea of fun.

@iamnikki western union is very simple: you call someone that can send you money, tell them to go to any western union office and send you money. in the case of a lost wallet , they need to tell western union that the receiver has no I.D.. they will then give that person a code which they need to tell you and then you use that code to retreave your money from any western union within the country of the receiver. I've often used it to send money to friends traveling abroad, its very easy, I take a picture of the code and send the picture, takes 2 seconds. boredom is my greatest fear, knowing in advance what the future will bring sounds terrible to me, I crave the unexpected.

@reflectingmonkey thank you for that.
I hate the unexpected. Probably why I feel I'm not doing well in life

@iamnikki I really encourage you to step out of your comfort zone, its neurological, our brain creates new connections when faced with new chalenges.
