I was looking online at places to potentially move to with a friend yesterday

We saw an apartment for sale for $450,000, and it seems like it would be perfect for me. It's small enough to not need much, the body corp would be less than $5000 per year and cover the maintenance, and it's in the area I want and close to the train...

I always plan to survive Armageddon so can you plant crops (a garden) is there a well? good sunlight exposure? A basement? A bomb shelter? lol

I have seen some sellers that are willing to finance it themselves. Doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe they are motivated enough to consider it by now.

@whowasthatmaskedman I've got a year of saving ahead of me anyway, so I can hopefully ride out the worst of it this year. Plus not having a car (or a driver's licence) means I don't have that massive expense. The rising cost of goods won't help though.
