Where's the most beautiful place you've been?

That opening scene on the old Fantasy Island TV show with the waterfall? It actually is on the island of Kauai and while I can't say I have actually been right to it, we did take a helicopter flight over it. Ludwig's Castle in the Bavarian Alps (the model for Disneyland's Cinderella's castle) is right up there as well, and Milford Sound on the South Island of N.Z. So much depends upon mood and circumstance. Kinsale, a little fishing village outside of Cork in Ireland is up there, but primarily because it was an unexpected joy after a bad experience in Cork. And the Monterey Bay Inn that @bijouxbroussard mentions is one of my fondest memories, but more for a weekend of love making after celebrating the graduation of our youngest from college and becoming true empty nesters. I think I wrote an account of that in one of the groups if it is still there.
