What's been the highlight of your night? I just got back home from this incredible adventure.

Have you ever gone out chasing the moon? Just grabbed a coffee and a sweatshirt - your trusty camera. Late night, flying down back country roads, top off the vehicle - the cold night air caressing your skin - the heater up to full blast - camera on and ready in the seat beside you. Searching diligently for that perfect vantage point. You'll know it when you see it...when you feel it. The sounds of the night are all around - frogs and insects singing, coyotes howling in the distance...owls, bobcats... If there was ever a perfect moment in life, this is it. There's nothing any better than to get lost in the country on a cool, fall, moonlight night, where no one can find you and you've got no one to answer to.

I've woken up in the night like many a time, and so the highlight right off the bat just now is having a nice back and forth with a friend here and listening to my 2nd favorite thinker's book Human, All Too Human. A review labelled what Nietzsche does quite aptly, manifesting, i love that idea of manifesting.

@TheYawnArchive Nice. I personally, am not convinced manifesting typically brings anything to fruition. Seems it simply gives the mind something to do and keeps the mood positive while you wait for what will/won't happen. 🤷🏼‍♀

@LadyBronte You're probably right, one may just get a dose of dopamine with it and then after awhile not even that, and then you just either give up or find another approach.

It was a perfect night. I sat outside watching the moon and having coffee, just me. It was peaceful and amazing. It was the best time I have had in a long time.

I finished the series 3 Body Problem on Netflix.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@HowtoDestroyAngels I started watching that, but I couldn't make it through season 1. It wasnt my cup of tea for some reason.

I have nature in my blood, so anything is possible. My nocturnal instincts kick in pretty fast as well
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@SW-User Nice!

My wife fell asleep and I got to change the TV from Hallmark Love movies to something I actually wanted to see. Congratulations on your lovely evening 😊😊😊 Did you get that perfect picture?
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
@Musicman Lol. Yes, everyone needs a break from the Hallmark Channel sometimes. I know she loves that channel but I am not a fan. Good for you for watching movies together. I got a few photos. Thanks.
