@NativePortlander1970 Sadly it is very true. ☹️ But, to be fair to campgrounds too not everyone with an older RV takes good care of it and some I have seen drive in on their own, but you seriously worry about whether it will actually be able to leave on it's own power. Some leak and the owner covers half of it with a tarp and storage doors are duct taped closed. Ours is older than 10 years old. We have been rejected once due to age. Other campgrounds have just wanted us to send a current picture which we have done before letting us in.
@Musicman I personally think it should be based on condition and not age of ang RV. There is a guy that's a neighbor of my older stepsister that has a Minnie Winnie from the early 80's that looks and runs practically brand new, while I have seen some not even ten years old on the RV Trader site that's ready for the compactor.
@NativePortlander1970 I completely agree with you. Ours is a 2006 and looks almost new. People can't believe it when I tell them how old it is.
@Musicman Back then vehicles were built like tanks, they lasted, now they break down just by sitting there.
