What country is everyone from? And have you ever traveled to a different one?

If so, what country and how was your experience?

I live in the US and I have never traveled to a different country but I would like to and I would start with basically any European country.

I am from the US, I have traveled to Norway, Canada, Mexico, Panama, France, Spain and England, Iceland and Trinidad. I have been to a few of the Atolls in the Pacific. Norway had the least friendly people, the scenery from Johnston Atoll was the most amazing. The history and architecture of anyplace in Europe is interesting to me. Here in the US a building that is 200 years old is considered old, some of the buildings in France are 800-1000 years old. I love the old cathedrals there.

UK. Travelled to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Thailand, China, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia.
My experience is that people all over the world want mostly the same basic things: food, rest, freedom from drudgery, time and resources to enjoy life.

I was born and raised in Tennessee like my saviour jesus christ and I will never leave this place!

Well, given that "Europe" is nearly 30 countries all with their own languages and cultures....

I am English but have enjoyed holidays in Eire, Norway and France; all very different. I suppose it depends a lot on what you want.

If you don't like high Summer temperatures you might want to avoid the Mediterranean and inner-Spanish areas in August, for example. Do you prefer cities or quiet rural locations? And so on....

I've lived the Usa most my life. And New Zealand the other part. I've never really visited any country like a tourist before

The UK and France are great places to start.
Despite the reputation I found the people in Paris accomodating.

I'm Canadian and have been to the US and around twelve European countries and Jamaica.
From the U.K. and been to Florida a few times as a kid.
Poetvann · 26-30, F
@Lilianajames oh cool, I live in Florida and I've actually always wanted to visit the UK LOL. How did you like this hot fiery hell we call home? 😂
@Poetvann I enjoyed it. Got to go to Disney and universal while I was there. Couldn’t go on many of the fun rides and can only just now
I’m from the U.S. and have traveled to Canada, Mexico, England and France. I was lucky, everyone was nice, especially so in France.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@bijouxbroussard which is good to hear because you often hear french people are not so nice
@caPnAhab Yes. They were kind to my parents when they went, too. They both speak French, which helped.

Poetvann · 26-30, F
@V00doo like as in materialistic? And superficial? Or non resourceful and wasteful? Because it's both lol 🤣
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@V00doo The US gives a good impression of being a nation of busy bodies intent on imposing their will on each other to a much greater degree than elsewhere.
caccoon · 36-40
Canadian. I've only travelled to USA, UK, and Australia. They were all wonderful.

I'd like to go many other places
