Good Morning

Returning home to Wales this morning.

The natives of England,I can report, are a friendly bunch.😀

If Glamorgan play at Leicester next season will definitely return.

And i could well cross the border again in September when Glamorgan play in Taunton.

But come Thursday it will be the more familiar territory of Sophia Gardens.

Do you talk like Richard Burton?
@Fukfacewillie dead posh😀
Gusman · 61-69, M
Did you get a victory?
@Gusman unfortunately not..lost by 42 runs but the Umpires reported the pitch which has been examined by the Chief pitch inspector of the ECB.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales When a pitch is not up to scratch, both sides still have to play on it.
Here in Makay, Queensland, the test match between Australia and Bangladesh was over inside two days. Was it the pitch. Not according to pundits.
Official rating of the pitch as "Very good"
@Gusman yeah..but the number of batsmen who got treated after being hit on the hand or head-and our wicketkeeper who got one in the throat keeping shows it wasn’t a good pitch.
I expected a result wicket as Leicester are in the relegation zone( still are) but the Umpires on day one thought 15O would be a good score and our coach on day two was overheard saying it was the worst pitch he’d ever seen.
It was a very good game of cricket but even if Glamorgan had won it would still have been an awful pitch.
As was the one for our home game with Leicester on which taking wickets was impossible.
That was a dreadful game.
