How dunce can you be?

I can be pretty dunce sometimes. Once a new co worker introduced himself and said high I'm Rick - then he added Rick with a Q.
So I started thinking if you spell Rick with a Q it would be Qick. Then I started thinking he has a French accent so maybe that's how they spell Rick in Montreal.
I figured it out by lunch time so I don't think I'm completely dunce.
