Does the invasion of 'smart' and 'AI' tech into the 'airport experience' make it better or worse?
Last time I flew was a domestic trip in 2019. I haven't flown internationally since 1997.
I am not a fan of the invasion of 'smart' and 'AI' based tech in general as it comes with a lot of trade-off's to get the seemingly smooth experience for whichever situation it's touted to give it for.
The 'an app for everything' approach punishes those who are not tech-savvy, or don't like the invasion of tech into every aspect of daily life. It also requires everyone to have (and use) a smart phone on which apps can be loaded and turn your device into a covert data collector for multiple entities.
I don't have a passport.
