I don't really understand why New Zealand is a popular vacation destination

I don't understand what that place possibly has that we don't already have here in the US for cheaper except with funny accents.

I feel like it is just a place to go to see more mountains, trees, and agricultural blocks.

It also isn't as exciting as Cozumel or Nepal either.
