I have not flown for at least 40 years

This morning I have been online looking at one-way flights to Melbourne.
Trying to find a flight that will arrive mid-afternoon, not too expensive has been laborious.
There are all these ad-on prices to consider.
I am not even sure I have the wherewithal to accomplish this task.
I think all I can do is book a flight and pay the final, tallied price.
Qantas is my choice of carrier, though most expensive of course.

Hey it's been a few decades myself since I flied. I really don't want to get real ID either to just fly within the USA. 🫤

@DeWayfarer Rules over there are becoming a little crazy.
Not something I would want to do either.
I think this will be my last flight. Next move, if any, will be to Tasmania, take the ferry across Bass Straight.

@Gusman Unfortunately eventually I'll have to get it for banking reasons alone. I have noticed banking rules getting ever more restrictive. They are pushing apps even. So soon enough they will require it.

@DeWayfarer Yes, as much as we want to be left before, the powers that be will not allow it. 🙁
