What’s the furthest north you’ve ever been?

I’ve been inside the arctic circle in Finland at a latitude of 67.8N. Mainland Europe doesn’t extend much more than that but in Canada and Russia there are more options.

Perhaps one day I’ll make it to Svalbard to go polar bear and whale watching. They have great vodka and saunas up there too.

On a whale watching boat somewhere in the Salish Sea between Washington and British Columbia

The boat crossed into Canadian waters briefly near Saturna Island (a Canadian patrol plane even seemed to be checking us out), and also passed north of Patos Island in US waters
