I visited Mary Street Lagoon Boat Ramp at Mandurah yesterday
A dredge was about to be taken out of the water and transported to Henderson for a major overhaul. The retrieval began at 7.30am and was completed by 11.30am.
Before being trucked to Henderson it will need to be partially dismantled and those parts loaded onto another truck. The roads leading away from the Mary Street Lagoon Boat Ramp are too narrow, with 90° bends.
@whowasthatmaskedman That thought came into my head as I was watching this event being played out. My mind drifted back to the workshop I was in just 6 months ago and a chuckle escaped my lips thinking of my ex-workmates slaving away under a tyrannical foreman.
