@BritishFailedAesthetic The format for license plates in France changed in 2009 from FNI lay out to SIV lay out, so the owner is in possesion of this car since before 2009! Can you check if there is a sticker for the MOT ( CT, or contrôle technique in French) on the windscreen, till what year?
