Question about Online flight check In

My Lufthansa app says I can now check in online for both my flights tomorrow

I’ve never done this check in online. does that mean I don’t have to check in at the counter?

Anything else I need to know?

Yes online check in very helpful. At the counter they will just take your luggage and issue boarding passes. It gives you the option to choose your seat.
