Are you ever allowed to travel solo?

@BlueVeins People who loves me. Crime is getting rampant in the news. They just prefer if I go with someone so they have someone to call to check on me.

It makes sense. But yeah, I kinda wanna see what it's like to live in a world where a beautiful girl can safely take a stroll without being stared at or stalked.

@Casheyane For the love of God, please don't get your perceptions of violent crime from the news. There's 8 billion people in the world; of course there's gonna be someone out there stabbing someone all the time. If you go off crime stats, the world is about as safe as it's ever been, and obviously, it varies a lot depending on where you're going. A holiday in Yemen or Nigeria might be ill-advised, but you could have a lot of fun out there in Amsterdam or Tokyo. Obv you have to be more careful as a beautiful woman, but if you want to travel, try not to let people who are ill-informed hold you back.

@BlueVeins I get you. And if I didn't have the experience I do, I'd agree with you :)

But I also see things on their perspective and understand. I'm too precious for them to lose.
You don't leave the king unprotected in chess. Something like that. Responsibilities wise.

@BlueVeins What about you though? Did you ever go? Where is the farthest you have reached alone? :)

@Casheyane I don't really have the money or energy for travel. The furthest I've ever gone alone is a about eight hundred miles to visit a city I want to live in one day. I also am concerned about the environmental footprint. Things are getting pretty bad these days and I don't want to contribute more to that than I have to.

@BlueVeins If you could though, where would you go?
I hope you get to go one day.

Maybe one day, I will too. :) But first, I need to ensure they have no reason to worry.
