@Musicman it was a small Class C but it was perfect for up there. The downside was that the rental company gave me a list of roads that we couldn't go on. That excluded some places that I wanted to see. I don't remember the cost but it was reasonable.
@Sevendays A friend of mine rented one for a trip from Memphis Tennessee to Galveston Texas in the summer. The rental company would only let him run the generator for an hour a day. They parked at families house with no plug in. They were miserable.
@Sevendays That's how it should be. They wound up sleeping on the floor of her brother's house because the RV was just to hot in the summer with no AC.
