@JonLosAngeles66 I’ve been a couple of times and I assure you it was not a romantic place to me!!

Same here... not a romantic environment at all, unless your either a cop or a fireman because all you can hear 24/7 are sirens going off and flashing lights snarling traffic which I assume would appeal to romantic cops and firemen.
I've been to NY on business trips and stayed overnight each time and did that at least 200 time prior to the covid pandemic. There were fun times to be had for sure and I indulged in many of them, but the NY environment is not actually a romantic setting because nothing stops and nothing slows down there.
