Air travel?

Has anybody ever flown first class? I got a first class ticket this October. First time. Last time I flew economy. Not thrilled about the price. But my ass needs room. Last flight I asked for an exit row. And I got an exit row. With some other dude whose ass didn't fit. So, until I lose at least 50 lb, i take first class.

@Prisoner1972 thanks for bc 🙂. That would have been good advice 30 years ago. Not anymore of course though.

Be sure to board the plane when they call first class, because then you can be sipping your champagne while everybody else trudges past you. But don't make eye contact or smug faces while they do trudge past to the back.

Just look satisfied and be busy with reading something.
Only carry on one overhead bin bag, and if needed, one for under the seat in front.
Oh that reminds me. The very front row is not that great. You have to deal with pulling both the tray table and entertainment screen out of the armrests, and you feel kind of trapped.

I've never bought a first class ticket, but I have been upgraded to first class several times. On one business trip, I was upgraded to first class on both flights, there and back, had my rental car upgraded, and was upgraded to a jacuzzi suite at the hotel. It was a great trip!
