Phewwww why is the week not moving this time around...

Sometimes the work and travel gets so tedious that the week feels like a month already..

People who don't travel for work often, find this side of the world really fascinating but living out of a suitcase all the time is not atall fun really 🙄

It takes so much toll on the body, mind and peace of mind, body and soul to be precise..

How many of you out there sail in the same boat or otherwise and how do you manage the stress?

I did it for 3 yrs. . Fly out every Monday morning and fly home every Friday after noon. I didn't really stress on it , I had a routine down that I had an order get everything accomplished by Sunday evening. Get home unpack, do laundry, finish time card, complete work orders, submit preventive maintenance proposals, unpack tools look over coming weeks work orders and destination. , pull parts needed and repack two rolling tools bags 50 lbs ea. , 100 lbs total., carried digital scale, Adjust wardrobe to my destination . I would fly out of Phx at 5am and 70 ° F outside step off a plane 3-4 hrs later and it would be subzero. Have to pay attention to that. I had it down.pat, so I still had time to play with and hangout with my grandkids. 4am Monday morning on the air port shuttle and off again.

I used to travel for work pre-Rona, and it was exciting, tedious, exhausting and a ton of fun at the same time.

Got to visit some terrific places as well as some total dives as well.

A lot of people think business travel is fun....it's work, just to get where you're going, then you have to be on your A game to actually do the real work! I get it!
