I lived at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center and Boot Camp from 1979-1980. I visited many times and i’m sure that it hasn’t changed much. I did like the arts there. A very famous huge Picasso sculpture downtown. I think it had been named the “Baboon” and it had rust everywhere as what it was designed for!

@pistachio There are some incredible Shopping centers.such as the [b]Water Tower Palace[/b] among others. I hope you do get a chance to go to Chicago!
