I speak a bit.
I've been teaching myself on and off since High School through books and instructional videos.
Back then, Internet was dial-up and YouTube had yet to exist, but there was this instructional program on television called Let's Learn Japanese, that at the time, was on every Thursday at 1:30 PM that I would try to skip school to watch and videotape, so I could rewatch, memorize and take notes all at my own pace.
