If you have had valuables stolen or lost luggage while traveling how did you locate your lost luggage or retrieve your stolen valuables?

@justanothername no, had them hidden. Thought my wallet would be safer hidden inside the jeep than with my belongings on the beach.
But it was a case of someone seeing a tourist was dumb enough to rent a soft top that could be cut into while he's busy underwater at a secluded beach.
Like I said, lesson learned the hard way.

Bro one time someone took the $300 headphones off my head while I was asleep on the Metra. I woke up and didn’t even notice until I got BACK ON THE METRA AND WENT TO PUT THEM ON
