How to travel internationally?

Like where do you go to get your passport and Visa? And do you always need a Passport and Visa? Or just when going into further away or possibly unfriendly countries?

How easy or hard is it?

I've seen a Customs show in Europe, seemingly showing them reject a lot of people from international, but of course they're just showing the most exciting case they can find and the people that pass by probably aren't exciting.

Varies by country but you go to a federal centre (Service Canada here but whatever), take a bunch of ID with you, stand in line for forty hours, and eventually get a passport.

To get into a country you then need a visa. The visa authorizes how long you are there and what for.

The entry requirements vary by country. As a Canadian I can just show up at the American border, say I'm a tourist, and get across no problem.

If I wanna travel to Cuba, I need to apply and get the visa before travelling because they have stricter border laws.

@CountScrofula And if I M not mistaken Canadian federal law still states Americans have free pass and rights to travel Canada without passport and a clean criminal record, they just want a passport know so we can get back into our own damn country.
